The other day we thought of Ford’s Ranya Mordanova during our morning blog review when we came across MDC‘s mention of her latest editorial appearing in Vogue Russia. We decided to have a closer look and duly pulled Ranya’s book. Shot by photographer KT Auleta and styled by Simon Robins it recalls a time when Mrs. Ford ran the agency. Scarves, pearls, technicolor fabrics, and a muted photo color palette transform the normally angular Ranya (see her editorial to date) into a leading lady. We’re convinced there’s little Ranya can’t do. Photographers, stylists, and designers are asked to form an orderly queue.
