The Ford Models Blog knows its magazines. Its L’Officiel Hommes from its Better Homes and Gardens. Its Vogue Paris from, well, that one. Its Teen Vogue from EY! Magateen. The other week, though it was caught out by a thinnish “hard cover” biannual called Twin and immediately bought what it thought was the latest issue featuring Ford Men’s Aiden Andrews, Ethan James, and Seth Miller photographed by KT Auleta….gold in other words. Trouble was, that was the spring / summer issue and the leaves in Madison Square Park had already changed color, which in other words meant it was just…old. Fool me once… .
With its crash course in Twin firmly behind it and the requisite Hannelore Knuts interview on in its CV the Ford Models Blog is now more than ever ready to make mention of the iconic Belgian’s feature in Twin Issue 3 Fall / Winter 2010 photographed by Amy Troost and styled by fashion editor Alastair McKimm. Titled “New Model Armour” the story sees Hannelore wearing various padded-out looks from the Comme des Garçons F/W 10 collection by Rei Kawakubo and some of her own (would it be a Hannelore story without at least one booby shot?). Hannelore of course makes even the most surreal pieces look completely ordinary and in no way out-of-place. It’s not just the fashion either that Hannelore makes familiar, but also the issue of Twin, which thanks to her we will definitely recognize as the most current of current issues. Bedankt!

Love her look, very strong and high fashion.
Sort of like a young Annie Lennox.
