Photographer Greg Kessler captured rising star Lara before and after transformations in makeup by Pat McGrath and hair by Guido Palau took root. Prada…how about that show?! Firstly, the video streaming was nearly flawless and belied the fact it emanated from Old World Milan. Secondly, the collection was a celebration of fashion writ large. Continuous prints, jeweled embellishments, platform shoes, all were underwritten with a sense of power and authority. Finally, yesterday’s casting broke with its menswear counterpart of last month by leaving the presentation to professional models (not Garrett Hedlund) including Lara Mullen (Ford), Julia Nobis (Ford), Cora Emmanuel (Ford Women), Carolina Thaler (Ford Women), and Hanne Gaby (Ford).
