The unbridled excitement of the EY! Megateen #6 Summer 2010 issue continues apace with a feature by Bruce Weber on Ford Models new boy Bo Ackerson. The 6’1½” (187 cm) Kansas City born model acquits himself rather well over a special glossy six-page spread in an otherwise coarsely printed issue by the photographer famed for his Abercrombie & Fitch quarterlies. Even though the nominally soft-core catalog only made its F/W 10 return following a seven-year hiatus, Weber’s shots of Bo too peel back the years to when print held the edge over the nascent interweb and interviews were conducted for the sake of a magazine’s layout. “I’m not one to kiss and tell,” explains Bo when asked about his first kiss, “but she was blonde.” Of course she was!
