When photographer Marley Kate shoots a story, the Ford Models Blog takes notice. Her Francisco Lachowski editorial for Vanity Teen not only featured on our blog, but likely left an indelible mark on even the most prolific traffickers of the boy’s image. Much of the was Francisco, yes, but an equally not insignificant part was also what photographer Marley Kate was able to bring out of her then subject, namely adolescent abandon. But, which model from Ford Men would she next shoot?

The answer to this intriguing question thrills the Ford Models Blog for it is in fact Ford Men’s Eric Watts who features in an August 2010 editorial “Read My Mind” from TheOnes2Watch photographed by Marley Kate and styled by Allison Miller. The clothing is deliberately understated allowing Kate’s latest subject, Eric, to come to the fore. Shirtless, jeans, smiles…just the sort of look to be expected from a Saturday morning in late August spent with a new romance. The 6’0″ (183 cm) Nassau County native last featured on the Ford Models Blog in late July after making a requisite appearance on COACD and has since gotten busy plying his trade with this editorial that is sure to bring him plenty of exposure, hopefully campaigns, and maybe, just maybe, Tumblr reblogs by the hundreds.
