A few weeks ago the Ford Models Blog mentioned three of a possible 598 different covers French Revue de Modes #17 and lo since then the clipper ships that ferry magazines from the Old World to the New World have delivered their bounty! Not only do three of the covers feature Kate Kosushkina, India Farrell, Mayara Rubik Marchi, but inside the issue Ford’s Juliana Schurig and Karlina Caune also crop up in an editorial photographed by Thierry Le Gouès and styled by fashion editor Marcell Rocha. Titled “Rock This Town” the story turns back the clock to a time when Teddy boys were in their pomp and not merely tourist fodder in Harajuku. The styling is tremendously rich and aided in no small part Benoit Moeyaert‘s hair genius! The styling details alone would fill a phone book and for the sake of brevity we’ll skip a full transposition and encourage you to buy at least one of the possible 734 issues of French #17 to bloody read for yourself.

Strange location for ultra fashion. I do love the water in the background. Love Thierry and the way he showed great detail using black and white.
I like Juliana! No doubt she is a super model. The others look like men and the boys in some pix in other articles look like women…what's up with the photographer? Overall nice shots.
The styling's nice, except for the hair, which, while technically impressive, is horrible.
