Now that the dust has settled on the Milan Menswear Fall 2012 season, a proper account of the week is in order. The big takeaway from the week was that our coverage did not err in hitching itself to the star of Adrien Sahores, who enjoyed the sort of runway ubiquity that is synonymous with Julia Nobis (Ford). The De Fursac Spring 2012 campaign model figured prominently throughout the week by featuring for 12 different designers including the complete presentation for Jonathan Saunders, which was the most appearances of any models Ford Men represents in New York. Elsewhere there were many bright spots to be admired. Seventeen is the number of models represented by Ford Men in New York that walked for designers in Milan. Francisco Lachowski racked up five appearances for Corneliani, Emporio Armani, Etro, Franki Morello, and Vivienne Westwood. Two of our models, Kacey Carrig and Matt Baber, were exclusive to Versace. Sebastian Brice walked in four shows and notably opened for Burberry Prorsum, a brand for which he has done extensive advertising. Douglas Neitzke opened and closed the Hardy Armies show. Ethan James, in his first true season in Milan, came away with two shows in Pringle of Scotland and Andrea Pompilio. All told, Milan proved a fine week and can be reviewed through a series of videos produced daily in Milan on this page.
